Wood Stoves!

I am thankful for the two wood stoves that we have and the warmth that comes from them. I am thankful that my dad cuts the wood for the stove! And I am thankful for the trees!!!

Family!

I am very thankful for my family.
I am thankful for my mom and dad, my brothers and sisters, my brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and my nieces and nephews. I am also thankful for my grandpa and for my grandparents that are now with Jesus.
And I am thankful for all the rest of my family! That includes those of you that are not related by blood!

In our home, we have a joke that goes:

"The first time you come to our house, you are a guest. After that you are just family!!!"

I am thankful for...children!

They are the next generation! Whether we have children or not, we can make an impact on them. Let's make an impact on them for eternity.

The kids I am thankful for:

• my little sister,
• my nieces and nephews,
• the children I get to babysit for,
• the children that I have been able to teach,
• and all the little ones God has made!

I am thankful for LAUGHTER!!!

The chance to laugh, the opportunity to laugh, and taking advantage of the chance to laugh.

People serving our community

Today I am thankful for the law enforcement, fire fighters, and ambulance personnel that are serving us right where we are. Thank you for doing things that I wouldn't be able to do.

Thank you for helping to keep our communities safe!!!

The gift of a Day!

Today I am thankful for the gift of a DAY. 

Each day God has given us is a gift and a blessing. It is one more day we can serve Him here on earth and it is one more day to show His love to others.

So, make the most of each, living it as your last, living it for Christ.

Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Today I am also thankful that it is a Snow Day :)

I am thankful for...

For the next month, I have decided that I will try and post everyday at least one thing that I am thankful and why I am thankful for it. And I will also try to have them be different things.

So starting today, Feb. 21, and ending (but hopefully not truly ending, just the challenge) on March 21.
