DOING-
1.Only missed two days, but I am back on track, though I need to read today's :).
2.This one I have not been doing so good on...I try to pray for people who ask, but I have not started the journal/calendar thing yet.
3.I guess I am not doing great at this either. I have been pretty busy... (bad excuse)
4.I am working on my BA, I will be getting 6 credits for my Internship!!!
5.My new thing for January is working at the Capital, meeting new people, and doing this internship!
6.I am trying to do God's will and to be open to how He wants to use me. Here I am!

This is a verse I memorized about #6.

Isaiah 6:1-8
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”
6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

"Lord, Here am I, Send me!"
Yours,
Mandy

Life Purpose Statement

A few months ago I went through this booklet called Life Purpose Planning. It was a great book and it helps you work through to see not only what you want to be doing, but also what God has in store for you. I would encourage you to check it out and go through it. It is not very long and it is fun to do.
Check out the website here: http://www.lifepurposeplanning.org/

Life Purpose Statement:

I want to live my life in a way that will always glorify God. I want to develop a heart that says, “Here I am, Lord, send me” (Isaiah 6:1-6). I want to make the most of every day, living like it is my last. I know I have been put here for a purpose (Esther 4:14) and I want to fulfill my purpose, even if I do not always know what God wants me to do. I want to trust Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). I want to live "By Faith" (Hebrews 11) and "Do Hard Things". I want to have an attitude of "It's all about God and not all about me". I am striving to follow the example of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 in my daily life. Ultimately, I want to learn that God knows the whole picture and that He will guide me through everything, even if I do not understand it (Jeremiah 29:11). I want to live in such a way that my life reflects Christ, so I can be a witness for Him. I want to influence children, girls, and women of all ages. I would like to inspire the next generation to be bold for God and to be able to step out on their own faith in Christ. I will do this, first, by reminding them of 1 Timothy 4:12. I will also do this through JOY blog, internet resources, my writing, and through disciplining and teaching others to live for Jesus Christ. I also want to show God’s Biblical Truths to others and expose the lies of the enemy. “So whether [I] eat or drink or whatever [I] do, [I want to] do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)
