Update on Resolutions for the year!

Okay, so let's see how I am doing on my list :)

LIST!
1. To read the One-Year ESV Bible in one year.
2. To keep a prayer journal and pray regularly for people.
3. To write letters and call people that I do not see very often in order to stay in touch with them.
4. To continue to work on my BA degree.
5. To try new things (maybe one new thing each month).
6. To be willing to let God use me.

DOING-
1.Only missed two days, but I am back on track, though I need to read today's :).
2.This one I have not been doing so good on...I try to pray for people who ask, but I have not started the journal/calendar thing yet.
3.I guess I am not doing great at this either. I have been pretty busy... (bad excuse)
4.I am working on my BA, I will be getting 6 credits for my Internship!!!
5.My new thing for January is working at the Capital, meeting new people, and doing this internship!
6.I am trying to do God's will and to be open to how He wants to use me. Here I am!

This is a verse I memorized about #6.

Isaiah 6:1-8
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”
6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

"Lord, Here am I, Send me!"
Yours,
Mandy
